Head of Finance

Founded in 2014, Linjer is a luxury jewelry and accessories company with a goal of making it easier for people to invest in long-lasting, quality products. Over the past few years, we have grown massively from a small Hong Kong based startup to a global team, and are entering the next phase of our explosive growth this year. 

With a team of 40 worldwide, we are blitzscaling, opening our first physical stores and opening distribution centres around the world.

We are seeking a strategic Head of Finance to join our team and ensure the organization's long-term financial health.

This role is full time in our Hong Kong office.
 

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Provide strategic financial guidance to company leadership to support the company's rapid growth 
• Develop and implement financial systems and controls
• Drive financial scenario planning, risk assessment, and decision-making 
• Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring financial systems and staffing are equipped to support evolving company needs
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators 
• Raise debt from lenders 
• Plan and prepare the 3-year plan, annual budget, and forecast
• Monitor financial results against plans and budgets
• Assist in corporate tax planning, including review of tax computations and timely filing
• Manage the implementation and upgrading of accounting systems if required

Operational Excellence

• Provide ultimate oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, reconciliations, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and cash management
• Manage relationships with financial partners and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations across international operations

Who You Are

• 2+ years experience as a Head of Accounting or controller (we will tailor the role according to seniority)
• Previous experience in retail / direct-to-consumer / ecommerce
• Fluent English speaker
• Able to drive strategic financial decisions 
• Strong analytical skills
• You are tech literate and can learn new software with ease
• Highly organized
• Strong communication skills
• You thrive in a high-growth environment 
• Execution oriented, with a “builder mentality” - you’re excited to build systems and processes from scratch
