Who we’re looking for
We’re a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand looking for a sharp Finance Analyst at the start of their career. This role is ideal for someone with outstanding analytical ability, strong business intuition, and the curiosity to use modern tools, including AI, to solve real business problems.
You may be a fresh graduate or have 1–2 years of experience, but you think in models, question assumptions, and enjoy solving complex problems with numbers and data.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, forecasting, and inventory planning
- Analyze sales, marketing spend, and customer behavior to uncover actionable insights
- Track key metrics such as CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and cohort performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews
- Own payment and revenue reconciliation across platforms such as Shopify and payment gateways
- Review and release payments, ensuring every payment is accurate and approved before sending
- Investigate discrepancies in transactions, payouts, refunds, and chargebacks
- Serve as the main internal point of contact for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records with outsourced bookkeeping partners
- Review, organize, and validate bookkeeping outputs to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Work closely with operations and procurement to ensure clean financial reporting
- Identify process gaps in billing, payments, reconciliation, and accounting workflows, and help design scalable solutions
- Use AI tools to speed up data analysis, surface anomalies, draft reports, and improve workflow efficiency
Who you are
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; bonus if you know SQL or Python
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similarly quantitative field
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate insights clearly
- High attention to detail with a bias toward accuracy and rigor
- Curiosity about how a DTC business operates end-to-end
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with reconciliation processes, payouts, bookkeeping, and financial operations workflows
- Internship experience in finance, consulting, analytics, or startups
- Experience using AI tools for analysis, reporting, or automation
